Unhuman & Petra Flurr is the collaborative synthpunk-technoid project of BITE label stalwart, artist Unhuman and legendary queer wave figure Petra Flurr. Using heavy rhythmics, wavy mandates, an androgynous stare and unavoidable sexuality, Unhuman & Petra Flurr introduce us to their culled brand of queer death techno.
Unhuman, the Berlin-based electronic project of Manos Simotas, founded Liber Null Berlin, a conceptual event merging arts and operates as a label. Evolving from post-punk roots, Unhuman’s experimental and dark electronics found a unique voice. Performances spanned major clubs in Berlin, Europe, Asia, and South America.
Petra Flurr, known for their driving electro-punk sound and intense live shows, challenges social tensions and control. Collaborations with artists like Bogota’s Modernista cemented their reputation as an innovator in the underground music scene.
